ABOUT THE
PROJECT

“CareEzy” is an idea born out of the horrible second wave that shook India. There was a huge problem with the ambulance services as they were all independent operators that were un – coorodinated , and hence a lot of folks were unable to find them when they needed them. CareEzy aims to bring together the ambulances and the bed availability in a network of hospitals so as to improve the likelihood of saving a patient with a critical situation by reducing the downtime and friction.

THE
OBJECTIVE

To build a mobile/tab first platform that is fluid and serves the three user sets that engage with CareEzy – Customer, Ambulance Driver and Hospitals.

Customer
Platform

The customer will be able to maintain and update his location,  book ALS/BLS ambulance, track driver, log symptoms, find a hospital based on the matching algorithm of symptoms and bed availability , view services of hospitals, view service prices, view bed prices, send emergency message to a hospital and maintain the payment methods.

Driver
Platform

The Driver will be able to maintain and update the driver details, vehicle details, availability , view tasks, accept, tasks, view start locations, view hospitals with bed availability, view drop locations, adjusted price calculation based on distance and time, view payments and withdraw amounts from the wallet to the bank.

Admin
Module

 The CareEzy Admin will be able to define , maintain and update the hospitals, hospital details, view hospital room charges, view hospital services and charges, view hospital lab services and charges, create and edit driver details, view driver tasks, view live transactions and transaction history.

THE
CHALLENGE

  • Elaborate business functions with multiple complex payout and accounting and price management rules.
  • Carefully consider the sensitive and urgent nature of the service to build a design that is highly sensitive to patient needs.
  • Multiple Integration points.
  • Built more than 200 API’s with low latency.
  • Home grown socket connections to facilitate the live hand off of the transactions.
  • Optimized architectural considerations to keep the Infrastructure bills in check .
